Local woman Anne Reilly is hosting an One Day Only Pop Up Shop To raise funds for her Bolivian Education Project.
Anne is volunteering to teach English and give pastoral support within a unique University in rural Bolivia.
The University was founded by the Franciscan Missionaries Sisters nearly 40 years ago. They set it up to the Aymara Indigenous Students who were too poor to access education.
Today there is over 700 students study Agricultural.Veterinarian. Nursing. Teaching and Tourism to a third level B.A. qualification.
Many of the students struggle financially and so there is a hardship fund set up to support the most vulnerable students. Anne is undertaking some fund raising activities prior to her departure on 26th May 2018.
Anne would appreciate your support either by donating unwanted unused gifts for sale or by coming along on the day May 4th from 10am to 5pm to Glebe North Club House (near Lidl) to get a bargain and also support Anne's Bolivian Education Project Gracias
