Young Adam and travels to the UK this week to begin treatment for a rare, complex auto-immune disease and immunodeficiency problem requiring a bone marrow transplant. We wish Adam well and keep him in our thoughts and prayers. Many people have volunteered to help raise funds for Adam and recently we followed the progress of Michael Hickey and his "Walking with Adam" journey which took him on a sponsored trek across the Scottish Highlands.
Now, young Robert Sweetman plans to cycle from Cork to Balbriggan and is looking for your support. We received this note from Robert the other day:
My name is Robert Sweetman and I'm doing a cycle challenge in aid of the Adam Dunne fundraiser. I'm originally from Balbriggan and now living in Cork and plan to cycle 300kms in one day on Saturday 4th June from cork to Balbriggan hopefully arriving in Balbriggan about 1930hrs on the sat evening.
I have set up a facebook page "Adam Dunne cycling challenge" and there is also a go fund me link to send donations online for this great cause.

I will be posting updates on the facebook page daily were possible and any off my training to the big event.
Thanks for donations and support from all,
