Fingal County Council have announced a series of festive events, markets and free street parking over the Christmas season. The Christmas lights in Balbriggan will be switched on Friday, 23 November at 7pm on George’s Square.
Balbriggan Gospel Choir have been invited to preform on the night and will set them up for their big event of the year, a performance at Christchurch Cathedral on December 3rd.
A further Christmas Concert has been announced just for Balbriggan Fans this will be on December 19th in the Bracken Court Hotel you can find all the detail of Balbriggan Gospel Choir events and tickets on their Facebook page

Fingal’s festive season begins as Christmas lights and Christmas Market are coming to town
Fingal’s festive season begins in earnest in late November as the Christmas lights are switched on.
This year, Balbriggan is being lit up on Friday, 23 November at 7pm (George’s Square).
Blanchardstown is coming alive on Thursday, 29 November at 6pm (outside Bank of Ireland, Main Street).
Finally, Swords enters the festive fray on Friday, 30 November at 6pm (Swords Castle).
The Swords Castle Christmas Market will take place on Friday, 30 November from 12pm to 8pm and on Saturday, 1 December from 11am to 6pm. The Christmas Market will feature over 45 traders, with an emphasis on local products, producers and artists. Families will be entertained heartily by various attractions including Santa Claus, face painting, balloon modelling and Christmas characters. Entertainment will also be provided by various local choirs and musical groups in the Chapel Room of Swords Castle on Saturday, 1 December.
Free parking will be provided in Swords for the public on the weekends up to Christmas as follows:
1 and 2 December: Seatown Car Park, beside Seatown Roundabout, Swords.
8 and 9 December: Executive Car Park, Seatown Road, Swords, near County Hall.
15 and 16 December: Executive Car Park, Seatown Road, Swords, near County Hall
22 and 23 December: Executive Car Park, Seatown Road, Swords, near County Hall.
Free pay-and-display parking will also be available in Swords, Balbriggan, Skerries and Rush this year on
15 December and
