The play is set in modern times and the action takes place in a typical suburban house in a North County Dublin town. Tony and Anne Finnegan have one daughter, Sarah. When a son is born, Ciaran, Tony cannot contain his excitement and fantasises about his future exploits with his Sunday. He imagines what Ciaran may achieve academically but above all on the sports field. He looks forward to trips to Croke Park and Lansdowne Road.
However, as so often happens in life, "the best laid plans......"

Its a great story, that will be performed to the typical high standards of Rush Dramatic Society.
