Here is the photo of the group involved with the decoration of St GEORGES SCHOOL.
We had asked for people in the community who would be interested in helping out to contact us.Two visitors from the states were very willing to help out. And , help out they did.We were donated filing cabinets and theses were very heavy but both theses guys lifted like body builders. The classrooms needed to be painted. With the help of other parents, the two guys over coated and undercoated, sanded down wood, all while having a friendly chat with the other parents. The nice thing is theses two guys never expected a thank you of any sort. They are here in Balbriggan as missionaries for the Mormon church. Elder Dudley and Elder Romany where presented with Dublin Hats and Certificates of appreciation from the Parents Association of St Georges School, Balbriggan. Everyone hates been disturbed by a knock on the door. But next time you hear a knock or see a missionary remember , it is because of people like this , our children from Balbriggan have a nicer school to go to. To the parents Mary and Ronan king.To Alison Thomas and Emma and Thomas Brezling. To Cathy and Christopher Gaffney for helping out.
