It had been intended to install a new bridge-deck over both the railway and the public road on Sunday 3rd December. Unfortunately due to stormy weather conditions that night it would have been unsafe to use a crane to lift in the precast concrete units and the work was postponed. It is now intended to lift in the bridge-deck units on Sunday 28th January. It will take a further six to eight weeks to complete the work on the stairs, stair supports and handrails.
