Although my wife and kids may not have seen me for the past few weeks due to the amount of work that goes into planning and running such an event I would like to thank them for their support and to all the volunteers who gave their time on the day and in the weeks running up to it.I would especially like to thank all of the 4000 people who turned up on the day and made it such a success and just to let you know that I have already started to plan for next year's event which is set to be even bigger with a whole load of additional slides, castles and activities for the kids - and a few more face painters! A big thank you to Robert from Apache Pizza for the advertising and the free pizza slices for the crowd and to our Town Clerk Brian Murray for his support and for the use of the stalls etc. Regards, Ian Lawless
