It will make it easier for local people, particularly people new to the area, to get up-to-date information on local activities. Included in this free publication are listings of schools, doctors, hobby organisations, sport clubs, support groups, social welfare, training and education organisations etc. and other information which has been identified as helpful and supportive to fully participating in community activity. The Directory itself is funded by Fingal County Council and Fingal Community Forum and will be available free of charge from various locations around Balbriggan. The Directory will be officially launched by Councillor Joe Corr, an Cathaoirleach of Fingal County Council in Glebe North Football Club, Market Green, Balbriggan on Friday, April 20th.
