The committee are running a free competition for children and a “once in a lifetime” prize awaits the winning child who must be present on the night.An Cathaoirleach of the Town Council, Sean Brown, will draw a winning entry at 7.00 p.m. and the lucky child will be invited to turn on the Christmas lights with the Cathaoirleach and receive a prize of a Nintendo games console.
Entry forms are available in the Town Hall and Library, Goldsmiths Jewellers, Supervalu and other shops throughout the town.
