The Kiernan’s have an inseparable bond with Bran because of their late father and their love for Bran. The refusal by Ashton pound to return their dog has left them distraught. The Kiernan’s spoke to a local Guard who told them that they have no right to keep Bran as he is clearly the Kiernan’s dog. Somewhere along the line wires have been crossed and Aston pound are receiving false information about Bran. Ashton pound have said that Bran will be put up for adoption but he will not be re-homed to the Area where he was taken (Balbriggan). They have also so said that they will not allow the Kiernan’s to adopt him. Everyone who knows the Kiernan’s knows that Bran is truly a Kiernan. Brans previous owners obviously didn’t care for him and left him out to fend for himself, if the Kiernans had not of took him in I have no doubt he would have starved. The Kiernan’s have to have their dog back. The longer that Bran stays in Ashton pound the more likely he is to be put down. Ashton pound have to right to put a dog down after 7 days.
