'... Considering the importance of Balbriggan in the Auxiliaries’ escapades, the burning in 1920 will be an important part of the book. I would like very much to interview citizens of Balbriggan to gather their impressions of the burning as an historical event and how it might have shaped the feelings of their ancestors and themselves. It does not have to be a large gathering but I would be willing to talk to the group about our research ......I  can give a short introduction on the Tans and Balbriggan and then take questions.  I will have a short questionnaire that I hope the audience will complete so I can take it with me.  I look forward to meeting you and your fellow citizens of Balbriggan...'
