Biggest loser is open to all in the Ringcommons & Balbriggan area. This will be a 4 person team event, running from Thursday 13th Oct to Thursday 15th Dec in Ringcommons Sports Centre. On the 1st night each member of the team will weigh in and indivdual & team weight will be recorded. Each week there after your team will weigh in and their weight loss will be recorded, from this the percentage loss will be calculated based on the starting weight of the team. At the end of the 10 weeks the winning team will be the team with the greatest percentage weight loss, this will not necessarily be the team who has lost the most weight.
Folks, the idea behind this is to be FUN with a little bit of competition to help motivate yourself to shed those few pounds. Been a team event, you will have the support of your team members to motivate you and help you get off the sofa / put down that bar of choclate. There will also be a social aspect as we plan to organise local group walks, there will be no obligation to participate in these but they will be available if and when you require them.
A team of 4 people will cost €200, €50 per person (This works out at €5 per week) the full amount of €200 will be required on the 1st night. Every Cent of the money raised will go to Balbriggan Cancer Support Group.

13th, 20th and 27th Oct. 3rd 10th 17th 24th Nov. 1st, 8th and 15th Dec
