Wishes Gifts was launched at the beginning of September 2011 and is the newly renovated face of McGoverns/Vision Radio.
The original business was established by Michael McGovern in 1955 and has been a staple business in Balbriggan ever since, providing a range of services to the town from the first TV's to the Toy collection at Christmas in the days long before the introduction of shopping centres. 
The new store, which remains under the ownership of the McGovern family, is situated on Dublin Street and boasts a diverse range of unique and affordable gift and homeware lines sourced from both at home and abroad.
Wishes also stocks a wide variety of popular brands such as Waterford Crytsal, Belleek, Bougies la Francaise candles, Nao Porcelain, Corona Silver, Willow Tree, Bomb Cosmetics to name a few. Wishes strives to provide products and brands that are not available anywhere else in the Fingal area and prides itself on its collection of locally sourced craftware such as Shamanic Pottery and Balbriggan photography. While stocking a wide variety of new lines, Wishes also maintains the traditional business lines of rugs, light bulbs, batteries and hoover bags.
